【Sapporo Symphony Orchestra Members Video Streaming Project】
To prevent a wide spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Sapporo Symphony Orchestra has been cancelling the concerts.
We feel this is the time to deliver music. With ideas gathered from the orchestra members, we plan to present various performances.
【1st Video taking】
The very first streaming is Grieg’s String Quartet, 1st movement. This work was to be performed at the Lobby Concert on March 13 and 14, 2020 before the 627th Subscription Concert, which was cancelled.
【2nd Video taking】
We have recorded an ensemble with Seijun Takahashi, principal flute, who is to resign from the orchestra as of March 31, 2020. We extend much appreciation to those who have kindly supported Takahashi for all these years.

Our brass and percussion members are appearing for "Sound of Music."
