【Important】659th Subscription Concert on Feb. 24 and 25 – Reimbursement of tickets

　The 659th Subscription Concert scheduled on February 24 and 25 were carried out only the first half of program, and not symphonic work in the second half. We hereby report the reason why this happened and requested procedures to have your ticket reimbursed.

＜What happened?＞
　Our Honorary Music Director, Tadaaki Otaka, was diagnosed as pneumonia and he and orchestra decided that he would not be appearing subscription concert in a morning before the concert date.
　We have swiftly requested Mo. Sachio Fujioka to appear and he kindly accepted our request. However, as we could not spare enough rehearsal hours, we concluded the concert to present only the first half of the program, two works; Chanson de nuit and Cello Concerto both composed by Elgar which lasted for less than an hour.
　We received much applause to the orchestra, to Mo. Fujioka and Mr. Ueno, the soloist, who all did the wonderful work, despite this sudden change.

＜Action＞
　Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, in principal, will not reimburse the tickets unless the concert is cancelled.
　However, for this 659th Subscription Concert, the conductor needed to be changed and we could not present the second half of the program, Symphony No. 2, which was more likely cancellation of the concert. Thus, for those who wish to receive reimbursement, we will pay back the ticket fee upon request, whether ticket is used.

　All the reimbursement will be taken care at the Ticket Box Office that you have purchased your ticket. Please kindly bring your ticket during the designated period. The payment method differs to each Ticket Office.

We will notify subscribers by post the method of reimbursement. 。

※If you do not remember where you purchased, i.e. your Ticket Office, call Sapporo Symphony Orchestra, and inform us your seat number.

※Those who live far from Sapporo, or cannot visit Ticket Office during the designated period, send your ticket to Sapporo Symphony Orchestra. Details are here (Japanese only)

※If no action is taken by Friday, March 15, tickets would not be reimbursed. （Kindly understand that we cannot issue donation certificate for this case. ）

※Reimbursement will be closed on Friday, March 15, 2024. Reimbursement is not applicable for those who no longer stay in Japan.
